Makeup and Filters

You all must have come across these lines  "that's all makeup" or "nah that's him with Filters, he's ugly in person". Using filters to click pictures or using makeup is normalised to be called 'fake'.

It's definitely wrong if you use either of them to hide or feed your insecurities.
But other than that I never understand the harm of those.
Poking people who puts makeup or uses filter is the reflection of you being triggered.

If people feel confident with makeup, if they like themselves with makeup , then what trigger other humans? Is it the fact that they're happy and confident or the fact that they feel beautiful? If makeup adds in to your self love or makes you feel more like yourself then go for it.
Also, it's high time that we normalise men using makeup.
If you feel like using those filters in your pictures then you should. What other people has to say about it shouldn't be your concern.

The problem starts if you don't love yourself without them, or you have some serious complex issues ,then you need some good self love. Acne, hyperpigmentation, open pores, fair or dark skin is normal. That has nothing to do with your beauty or your worth. Being fair or slim are the standards of beauty set by the society.
It's time to wake up, and change those standards.

One of the easiest way to do so is by watching what you speak. Sometimes unknowingly we pass some really mean streotypical comments about somebody's face or body or skin. That needs to stop right away.

I've realised with each passing day, people are becoming more and more judgmental and criticize literally every other thing and that kills a lot of dreams.

There's a phase that I live by "live and let live", it means that people should accept the way other people live and behave so that they similarly let you live.

People are going to talk about you, no matter what you do. So you might as well do whatever brings you joy.
The greatest prison people live in is the fear of what other people think.
